Filmmaking, scriptwriting, and Music Production is my current practice. My vision for art is to be able to tell authentic stories and share moments that people can share. I also consider myself an advocate for those who feel unheard and not seen. There are so many gifted people and stories that should be seen and heard. Giving service to my community and taking on assignments to amplify awareness is how I make an impact. In these current times, most of us are on our phones, computers, and tablets, and word of mouth has evolved to a form of digital word of mouth and content is a valuable source of being able to share. I help my community by creating content that allows creatives, brands, organizations, and businesses to market and share their work, creations, or messages. I’ve helped to build creators' digital portfolios, documented events, and helped our community's teachers make training modules, in addition to capturing content for LGBTQ, and BIPOC communities. My community is important to me, and their stories, initiatives, and creative endeavors are important, and they all deserve the opportunity to share, be seen, and be heard. I’ve always felt strongly about doing what I love, and I’m inspired by others who do so. Giving service and contributing to something bigger than myself have always been very important factors in my life. I’ve chosen to be a professional artist and work with an artist because it fuels my passion and makes my life purposeful. I pursue art because through art what becomes hidden is seen, it’s a form of therapy, and one can feel empowered, we can heal, we can share, and transform through art. Art is so multidimensional and is a true gift to humanity.
