My journey as an artist started when I was a kid who loved to draw as a means to escape boredom. Although I never truly pursued art in school, it was always a source of inspiration and mental stimulation. During my adolescence, I also found poetry and writing to be essential mediums that could channel my emotions and express my thoughts separately from verbal communication. However, I never truly thought of myself as an artist or saw it as a career until 2017/2018 when I immersed myself in the Hartford Art scene.

This experience of interacting with local artists and musicians inspired me to tap back into my creative passions. I started to draw again and expanded into painting, which I had always feared due to my ideas of perfectionism. Additionally, I began to seek writing opportunities that allowed me to write about local artists as seen with my work for Aislin Magazine and the Hartford Courant (in 2019). Simultaneously, I taught myself photography, which I could combine with my written clips to visually document happenings.

Since then I have transitioned from Part-Time to Full-Time Freelance Creative (a.k.a. Content Creator) mainly through the visual arts of photography, videography, and writing.

My main objective with my art is to highlight the amazing things that are happening in this community, internally and externally.
